Fill out your login details, choosing the student account type. Click the ‘Sign up now’ button. After, you will be asked to indicate:

  • Step 1: Your personal information
  • Step 2: The area of your interest
  • Step 3: Your education and graduation semester

After filling out all personal details, you need to list your thesis topic. To do that, press the ‘start collaborating’ button, which you can find on your dashboard (⭐):

Next, describe your thesis topic, filling out the form. Remember, the more details you give – the better. Try to answer the potential questions before they even arise. Then, press the ‘Save and view draft’ button. Your thesis topic is not yet visible to companies at this stage, and you can edit it in case of need.

Lastly, invite your thesis partner(s) to follow the processes of negotiations. Moreover, it will help companies to understand how many university students are working on the thesis. When the thesis topic is in the right shape and all partners are invited, it is time to publish the topic!

After publishing the topic, it will be listed in the Excelerate dataset and be visible for all companies. In case a company is interested in your idea, it can send you an interview invitation to discuss your thesis topic in detail, as well as a possible collaboration. Just show patience and wait for an e-mail!

Once an e-mail has arrived and notified that a company is interred in the meeting, you and your thesis partners can decide if this company is relevant for you. We suggest always give it a shot!

You can accept the invitation by clicking the ‘Accept invitation’ button under your negotiations. To see all your pending negotiations, press the “My collaboration” (🤝) button from the pull menu:

When accepting the invitation, you will receive the company’s contact details. It is your move now! You should contact a company to set up the interview to discuss the topic and potential collaboration details.

In case you and your thesis partners are interested in collaborating with the interviewed company, you should confirm the collaboration first. Once confirmed, the company is going to receive an e-mail.

In turn, if the company is also interested in proceeding with the collaboration, they will confirm it as well. Finally, you will receive an e-mail that would notify you and your thesis partners that the thesis collaboration was successfully concluded. Congratulations!
